The short version: the totals are public, you are not. This site shows how much a raise has brought in. It never shows who gave, or how much anyone gave.
Totals, the goal, the number of gifts, and how the total has moved over time. That is all. No names, no individual amounts, nothing that identifies a donor — not on the dashboard, not on the shared screen, not in anything shared to WhatsApp.
On the donation page you are asked for:
This is used to process your donation and send your receipt. It is not sold, rented, or shared with other organisations. Ever.
This site never sees your card number. Card details are typed directly into a secure form belonging to the payment processor — Nedarim Plus for shekel donations, Sola (formerly Cardknox) for US dollar card donations. Those details go straight to the processor. They are never sent to, handled by, or stored on this site.
This site runs no advertising and no third-party tracking. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel, no social media tracker, and no data broker of any kind. Nobody is buying or profiling your behaviour here.
Your browser stores one thing locally, on your own device only: if you have donated before, your name, email and phone are remembered so you don't have to type them again. That never leaves your device except when you submit a donation. Clearing your browser data removes it.
If you use the Ask us button to send a question or report a problem, what you write — and, if you choose to give it, your name and how to reach you — goes to the team that runs this site so someone can answer you. To help fix problems, a report may include basic technical detail about the page you were on and any error it showed.
Email mitzvahopp@gmail.com and a person will reply. If you want the details we hold about you removed, ask and we will remove them — bearing in mind that receipts already issued may need to be kept for tax purposes.
